[Finished] Gao~ :(

Finally finished AIR, and even 11 episodes later they're still trying to confuse me DX Why is it that all the dramas I watch include some mysterious disease? What was with that guy in the end?? And where's Potato?!? :O

AIR was alright...just sad. Occasionally amusing, but overall I get this depressed feeling :< The series as a whole would certainly make the weak of heart choke up. And normally I'm not like that, but...I did tear up during the Aozora song 8'] I definitely felt heartstrings tugged. Music can be so powerful, you know? When Misuzu was trying to walk to Haruka, I was only full of "D'aww"s. But then the song came up and I'm like, "...I am so going to start crying." *-*

Misuzu and Haruka are love ♥

I just wish they didn't chuck the other characters once they were done. I missed Kano :< I think next to Misuzu's story, hers was my favorite. And the Minagi/Michiru arc was only interesting near the end. But that's because I love/hate parting scenes ;-; it's where I'm most emotional...shaddup DX.

Uguu~ I think I like Kanon better still. Probably because I didn't have to deal with the countless moments of staring out into the sky, thinking something wing/dream/sky related. Really, it quickly became more exhausting than profound. :[

This day felt like it took forever, but I blink and now it's almost done. Such a strange world...gahh the drama is getting to my head! *needs comedy fast*

Did you draw that picture? It's cute. ^___^ It was sad!! I started to cry at the last episode when Misuzu was running to Haruka away from her dad. *sniffles*

My favorite is CLANNAD and then follow closely by Kanon. ^-^

Haha, no that was from Misuzu's picture diary XD *lacks that kind of artistic ability*
The whole series made me feel like crying, but I didn't until it all came gushing out in the end TT^TT

I watched the first episode of Clannad right after I finished Kanon I was on a Kyo-Ani frenzy XD but I kind of forgot about it after that since it was right when it first premiered and there weren't any episodes...
Now everyone's fangirling over it and I really want to pick it back up :DD

You should really pick it up because CLANNAD is soooo funny!! *needs to watch episode 12*

The atmosphere of AIR just makes you feel like crying.

I've been planning to watch AIR but never got around to it XD;;
is it worth while?

I guess you should if you like those drama, slice-of-life-y shows. But it's one of those shows where it's not exactly love at first sight. You kind of have to get past the first few episodes to get into the real meat of the story :]

To be honest, I'm not a fan of the sad shows. The thing that made me pull through was KyoAni and their tendency to be way awesome :D

I like Kanon better as well, but AIR was so good ;-; I had heard about it a very long time ago and wanted to kick myself for not having watched it sooner. I remember crying the most during episode eleven.

You should definitely pick up CLANNAD now. Do iiiiit.

The last few episodes were so good, but it felt like the rest of the series was pretty much forgotten. In the end it was just Misuzu, Haruka, and a glimmer of Yukito - not that I mind, but I liked the other characters too :\
And I didn't really like how they saved the best episodes for last ;_; *is extremely impatient*

I loved AIR. It's so beautiful, yet so sad. I cried when it ended as well.

But yeah, I prefer Kanon more. It's longer and you get to understand the story better. Plus you get to know more about each of the characters. ♥

My favorite is CLANNAD out of the bunch. You really should watch it!

AIR was great but the sadness of the atmosphere was overwhelming T_T

In Kanon, I cried a lot more and it's not as depressing. It has its share of drama but I was so much more attached to the characters that I couldn't help but feel what they feel.

You're like the fourth person to say that XDD Now I really want to watch it!!!

Like all four of us said, DO IT! WE COMMAND YOU! KOTOMI ICHINOSE DEMANDS IT. XD

Gahh! Way too convincing *__* remind myself to never defy this Kotomi girl...

I just finished rewatching episode one and now I remember how much I liked it. As well as that ED. Thanks a lot, now I refuse to go back to sleep unless I hear Dango Daikazoku 10 more times.
Damn you all XD

:0!!! I knew AIR sounded familiar. I only watched the movie one summer day last year. :'D

GO WATCH YOUR COMEDY. NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW!!!

I heard the movie makes a lot more sense XD And yet another thing to add to my "must watch" list and the list continues~

I went so far as to rewatch Blades of Glory :OO That's how depressed I was.
XDD

Oh, the movie made a ton of sense though some things were vague and I didn't get it until my friend explained what happened and I looked at Wiki. Although, on an aesthetic level, I think the movie looks prettier from what screencaps I've seen of the anime.

Blades of Glory! Something that is on my "to watch" list. XD
Lurliene: Allen > No icon??lurliene on January 6th, 2008 05:34 am (UTC)
lol Wikipedia always helps XD And despite all the confusion, the animation was always a plus for me.

:OOOOO
I can't believe you. GO. WATCH. NAOOOO. O_O

I HAD A BAWFEST. ;___; I watched AIR a few years back and...HAHA, I cried on EVERY single episode after the second one. I'm such a weenie. :'D

It's personally, my favorite from all of the KEY anime so far, because the art is so breathtaking, and the story about Kanna ties in really nicely in the end. Plus, I think Yukito was much more likable. xD But all the KEY anime have their pros and cons.
Lurliene: Dogs > EMOlurliene on January 6th, 2008 04:44 am (UTC)
DD8 I wouldn't be able to handle a show that made me cry in almost every episode. But sadness doesn't really make me cry. It's those last bittersweet moments where they're still smiling even though they won't get their happy ending. And perfet background music, which AIR had a lot of. They really get to me :'[

Yukito is a lot nicer than the other guys, it's true XD
And the animation was amazing, which is one of the satisfying factors in Key anime :3
